I got a full set semi-permanent eyelash extension treatment with Holly and was extremely unsatisfied with how they turned out. I initially expressed that I thought they were way too short towards the front of my lash line, unevenly so, but was told (incorrectly, as you'll find later) by Holly that was the only way my real lashes which are on the shorter, sparser side would hold up the extensions. The gradient across my lashes was so harsh, with the front ones being incredibly short and then suddenly there were very long ones as you moved further away from my nose along my eyelid. When I looked down you could see the drastic difference in lengths. I spoke with another third party professional the day after getting them done and she alerted me to the fact that the lashes were also visibly glued to my eyelid as opposed to my actual lashes, so that was the icing on the cake. Holly didn't ask me what style I was going after either — I had to tell her right before we started. And I still ended up with a cat-eye look which I was not interested in, resulting in my eyes looking even droopier (my eyes droop a little down to the sides naturally so I was really looking for a more lifting look).
I’ve been getting eyelash extensions consistently for two years in the U.S, and have never had this issue before with regards to getting good length, gradient, and volume. In fact, I went to another salon a day later after my experience at Beauty at Muse because I was so upset with how these looked, and I got Russian volume lashes done with absolutely no problem and they looked phenomenal.
Take my advice and please spend your money and time elsewhere.
Good salon, and good value for money with the off-peak discounts. I wouldn't have the eyelash tint again because it hurt my eyes but had a bikini wax, gel nail polish, eye and brow tint and eyebrow wax all within 1.5 hours which was great!
