I booked luxurious facial which included a clense, steam and exfoliation which is why I booked this. The steamer was broken why a business only has one I am not sure. I was really disappointed by this as this was my first experience of having a facial. I wasnt even given an option to rebook or get a refund and I wasnt even called to say if I was ok with this. I only found out when I arrived. It was replaced with hot towels which were not even hot in my opinion. As this was my first facial ever and I had come all this way I didn't want to make a fuss. The lady doing my treatment was nice but in the first 5 mins of her describing the treatment she spoke really fast it was hard to keep up with her. Overall I felt the facial itself was disappointing. The head and neck massage was a little painful. I did say something but it continued to be painful but I beared through it. The arm massage was nice. The ambiance was nice and when I left I did feel quite relaxed.
Initially I went in not knowing what to expect. I got there about 11.25ish for a 11.30 appt.
I sat and waited briefly for the appt, was taken to the massage room and the process briefly explained to me. I was asked about any tension I felt I had in my back and my work so specific areas could be targeted. There was a little bit of building noise going on outside, but this soon quietened down.
I got ready for the massage, and Hayley knocked on the door before entering. The massage was great and my knots were well worked out.
After the massage was over, I was given a glass of water and told to take my time getting up. I really appreciated this!
Everything was wonderful, but my only gripe was that when I looked at the time it was 11.52 - so the massage hadn't been a full half hour. That's neither here nor there, but it would be worth explaining on the website.
After the massage was overall, I filled in a form with any medical or health details and left me contact information, for use if I was to return. (which I likely will)
