Felt the hairdresser could have listened a bit more to what I asked for in terms of styling but I've been before and was happy with the finish.

I visited the salon on Monday evening for the intro haircut and blowdry, I spoke with the hairdresser before (I don't know her name) and was extremely clear that I had been growing my hair out for months and wanted the TINIEST bit off the ends. My hair is a bit damaged and I needed a trim before my holiday. I said I've had problems with people cutting too much and I was really afraid of it looking short. She said she would take off the smallest amount just to make it look healthier. She then proceeded to hack into my layers that I'm trying to grow out and I have been left with too giant chunks at the front and back. It looks awful. I kept telling her she didn't need to cut so much but she informed me she was evening it out. I felt extremely anxious for the whole cut as I could tell she was taking too much off. She just kept lifting it up and hacking into it. She then proceeded to give me a 'blowdry', no offense but she couldn't even twist the brush, she was just gently stroking it against my head and holding the burning hot hairdryer at it. I am so disspointed and upset and have been left with chunky layers that will now take another 6 months to grow out. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. It also looks nothing like the pictures, it's dark and dingy. I work hard for the money I earn and I can't believe I wasted £39. Feel like I will never find a hairdresser that actually listens!

Staff are friendly. Booking stated and ended in time. It's a small room at the back of a hairdressers. Small number of nail colours to choose from. Manicurist was gentle when prepping nails. Finish looked good but was disappointed that within a week there were a few tiny chips.

Good environment, offered a beer and made very welcome and relaxed. Good conversation with the stylist and a good quarry cut too.
