Charlton House is beautiful, the hotel and spa are within a beautiful manor house. The spa is beautiful with a lovely Moroccan theme, it also smells divine as soon as you in the corridor. The therapist i had was very friendly and a credit to Charlton House. The treatment was pain-free and relaxing despite it being an eyebrow wax.
What a lovely spa hotel with great staff that will do anything to help. The room was fabulous with a sweet patio. The bathroom was everything you could ask for. The spa has a selection if relaxing bubbles and different temperatures, alongside a steam and sauna. The outside hot tub is a treat. All my treatments were lovely and made me feel like I was floating. Food was yummy and plenty of choice. This is the second time we have been and both times have been consistently fabulous. We have already booked in dates for out next visit.
Would have been nice to include a treatment. The only down point was the robes and slippers were a bit tatty.
The 2 course meal was fabulous and the young waitress was a credit to Charlton House.
A beautiful chic hotel set in the picturesque countryside. Beautiful big manor house with an old fashioned feel of style, grace and tranquility. Facilities good my only slight complaint being they were slightly on the small side. The outdoor hotub was Devine and the treatments some of the best I've had. Could just do with a few more chairs/beds around the pool as it wasn't easy to find one free.
Restaurant food delicious (But very small portions be warned don't go for dinner starving as you may come out still hungry)! Yummy all the same. Rooms exquisite and staff very friendly. Also a short drive away from bath city centre so in a perfect location.
All in all HIGHLY recommend.
My boyfriend and I went to this spa to recouperate after a weeding weekend. We were so happy with our beautiful room and the great spa facilities. As part of the package we had a 40 minute treatment each - which was an added bonus. A really great place to relax and be pampered. the grounds and the hotel are beautiful. Such a great value trip and I would definitely return to this hotel again!
