The room itself and treatments were lovely. The only downside was that our room was not part of the main house, so we had to walk outside in our dressing gowns to get to the spa- which was pretty fresh at the start of February!
Excellent experience. Just a couple of niggles. At dinner the waitress asked us if we would like water with our meal, we agreed, and she brought us a bottle of still water at an eye watering price of £4! Then later we saw her pour water from a jug at another table, we were not given the option which was annoying. The wine choice was good if you want red or white, if you want rose, there are 3 to choose from. With rose being so popular I was surprised at so little choice.
Fantastic place, great food and amazing spa wonderful location, staff attentive, would go again. The bed was a little soft
Lovely little spa with welcoming staff and great facilities (pool, hot tub, 2saunas, steam roon and experience showers)
May feel quite packed if there was a big group in but wasn't too bad on a busy Saturday in jan!
Shame people leave their robes and towels on the big seats by the pool and not hang up though - seems unfair yo others using facilities as there are only 5or 6 big seats and had robes/towels on for duration we were there but no one ever sat down!
I have done nothing but rave about this place to everyone. The atmosphere, food, room and staff were fantastic and made our special weekend away absolutely perfect. Thank you for the room upgrade we didnt even ask for, I can only say this added a massive impact on our stay and the room was fantastic with breathtaking views. The spa was very calming, clean and the treatments blissful. The food surpassed any expectation we had and the waiter staff were so attentive and always one step ahead. whilst remaining professional they still had a sense of humor and very grounded. the only disappointment I have is my package advised that during my facial I could choose between a hand or foot massage whilst the mask settles on my face. unfortunately both myself and husband were not given an option we were given a hand massage which whilst was truly lovely I was looking forward to a foot message as we are very busy people and on our feet all day. Apart from this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we had a longer time there than the one night and would definitely return with a blink of an eye and recommend to any of my friends and family. to conclude we came away feeling very relaxed and the skin after our facials are lovely. Thank you for a wonderful experience and making our special weekend away magical.
