I am fairly happy with my highlights but wouldn’t say it was a marvellous job. I won’t be going there again though. There was an informal, jokey atmosphere, but lots of unprofessional aspects. When I arrived, the receptionist was bending down behind the desk, swearing about something and didn’t notice I was there for a while. She was apologetic once she saw me but I was then kept waiting for nearly half an hour. My stylist was friendly but her nose was not covered by her face mask. I had paid in advance on Treatwell but, on leaving, was told I owed an additional £20 for a “treatment”. I had not requested this and had not been asked whether I wanted it. Their card machine wasn’t working but I paid up in cash, deciding not to go there again. Although I’d been told on the phone that I didn’t need to do a “patch” allergy test if I signed a form. The form was never presented to me.
