This was an all right experience. The massage was pretty average, quite relaxing none the less. The therapist was nice enough, but seemed a little mechanical and not so present with the massage she was giving. This meant the massage was energetically quite blank and the treatment a little too impersonal. I'm quite sensitive to these things, though, so for somebody else it could be perfectly OK. Also, it's not a holistic centre, but a corporate hotel spa room, so that makes sense. Just know what to expect.
I really enjoyed my arotheraphy massage at the Park Plaza COunty Hall. My theraphist Nicholle was very helpful and professional and made me feel very relaxed . The room was cosy and the place very clean . I also used the gym facilities althought he gym is very smalll is fully equipped with all you need . It was a very good experience as the time i went was very quiet and I used the gym on my own .Very good experience overall !
Helpful text reminder sent of appointment. Nicole my therapist was knowledgeable, polite and friendly & showed me around the facilities. I requested a patch test prior to accepting the treatment as I have very sensitive skin:ecezma. A full hour facial given, thouroughly felt pampered. Nicole was easy to talk with and when I just wanted to to be still and enjoy the treatment she spoke very softly. Overall exceptionaly good value for money for £23. I would try this spa again as there published prices are reasonable for mini packages. I didn't use the gym, sauna or steam room and these were included in the deal; however the only downside is this venue does not have a swimming pool or jacuzi & the gym is on the small side.
I have never been to this hotel before - it's hidden behind Waterloo station, but was very nice indeed. It felt like a 5 star hotel and spa, and the facilities were very luxurious. I would definitely go back if another opportunity came up on Wahanda; the massage was relaxing (not particularly hard if you needed a sports massage but nice and relaxing nonetheless). I thought the products my therapist used smelled amazing, and didn't feel like I had come through on a deal / wasn't made to feel like I hadn't paid the 'full price'. Sometimes you feel like you didn't get the full service you would have received had you been a full paying customer, but that wasn't the case here. I would recommend to a friend!
WAS FINE EXCEPT THEY GOT THE TIME WRONG AND THOUGHT THEY WERE SEEING ME AN HOUR LATER. other than that I really enjoyed it and was very convenient for me as close to my flat.
