This was my first time at Arthee and my last. Honestly the most horrific Hollywood Wax I've ever had. I've had this wax at numerous places a few times and never have I experienced what I have at Arthee. I had an eyebrow thread firstly, I had been growing them out for months and asked her NOT to thin them just shape them, she proceeded to completely thin them - not only thin them but then completely different shapes - I pointed this out and she seemed confused and just not seeing the obvious difference in shape. She adjusted them (thinning one side more) and then there was not much else I could do but just accept. She then went onto wax - after no wax for 5 weeks I was obviously longer down there than usual. She didn't trim or anything. She literally spread the wax all over down there and waxed one after another with no pause between. She did this "to limit pain" and to "be over with quickly". Honestly the most horrific wax I've ever had. I have now 2 days later been in so much pain. Burned completely down there and blood in a few spots. It was also not done thoroughly (hair left in different patches). She didn't apply ANY cooling cream or anything - just some oil. She saw I was in distress too. Literally anyone thinking to go here, it's all well and good for it to be £22 but there's a reason for that!! Avoid this place at all costs. I am now daily applying sudocrem and to top it off hair is already growing back after 2 days meaning she basically ripped the hairs out - improper technique!

Not sure what products they used this time, but my skin is severely hydrated and tight. My face is extremely red and Unhappy, no amount of moisturiser is helping it at the moment. as i was going away for a family wedding I went here, my face and skin is completely ruined and not sure if it will recover by next week.

I came back here after long time going else where as they really hurt me every time I had a wax I told her they shouldn't be using wax strips when having a Hollywood but no they said it cost to much well let me tell you she got as far as my inner upper thigh and I told her to stop as I was in agony after going over the same bit four times I was nearly in tears. Oh by the way this was after no one being there this morning at 11am for my appointment and was told they was t opening till 12 so made another app for 2pm and was greeted by banging and drilling from a workmen as you walk into the shop!!!! This isn't my first bad experience with this so called place but thought after the refurbishment and new staff thought I would give them another go but NEVER EVER would I step back into this shop! It's a shame I couldn't show you in a photo my inner thigh as it's barley bruised and stinging!!!!!!
