Overall ok value for the price--the location is convenient and the ambiance relaxing. Only thing is that there's only 1 shower in very very small ladies changing room, making it difficult to even move around if you go with a friend, much less if there's more than a few more people there. The services are good from a standards perspective, but not especially memorable. Wished their jacuzzi temperature was hotter though. Was lukewarm, not particularly therapeutic. Environment was clean and relaxation room comfortable and spacious.
I had a lash lift, which looks really good, she also tinted the lashes. I am considering going back for the Myscara treatment. I had lunch afterwards in the beautiful restaurant, 2 courses for £15. Will definitely return.
This is a lovely little spa right in the heart of London, but it gets busy on a Saturday evening. They are fitting a new sauna, so that wasn't available, but otherwise really nice relaxing experience.
My experience was in 2 halves, 1st half was appointment - awful; 2nd half was performancet - very good. To book an appointment was hard, their phones divert to voicemail, the call was returned after a day. On the day, I was shocked the reception cannot find my booking, she tried to send me away and offer another appointment in 2 weeks. Beacuse I was getting married, I persuaded them to squeeze me in, after 3 hours wait, I finally was treated. The result was very good, my lashes lifted and dressed nicely. The best bit was it lasted for 7 weeks !
First time to the Athenaneum Spa, the place is nice but small. The facilities are limited. Facial was OK, it is done very quickly. I think they could have taken their time more. Massage was average. The manicure was done really well. I think that was the best treatment. It is a good day out with a friend and the spa package was good value.
