I don’t normally write reviews unless the service is truly outstanding but I have to say the Athenaeum really delivered The treatments we had were exceptional and the staff were professional, friendly and most importantly masters in their own field delivering what I believe to be one of the better facials I’ve ever had. Truly amazing and a first class experience. Coupled with the relaxing spa area and a cream tea with freshly baked scones, I have already booked my return trip!

We booked the spa for a birthday treat, it was fabulous and very relaxing. We also had a cream tea at the hotel afterwards which was delicious.
