Great idea as not just the usual manicure, nice hotel in the centre of london, was looked after by all the staff from start to finish, as it was a central london hotel, was able to explore central london afterwards which was a great way to spend the day.
I had such a lovely time at Athenaeum Spa! The beauty therapist was very good! The ambience of the Athenaeum Hotel is fantastic! It's clean, spacious, nice decorated and comfortable! To finish I had 2 courses meals at the main restaurant at the hotel which I enjoyed very much! I will be back for more and I recommend this place to everyone looking for an amazing and relaxing venue with professional beauty therapists!
We went as a group! and it was jsut perfect! we more or less had the spa facilities just between the 6 of us for atleast 2 hours. We all enjoyed the massage and facial and the paint that we recieved in addition to the Jacuzzi, Steam room and relaxation room. Although the Gym was available to us, we chose not to use it as we was having a girly of just being pampered. The staff were lovely and nice, the venue was very clean and pleasant to be at. It was also definately worth every penny as we purchsed the Weekday package. Would defo recomment anybody to do whether as a group or a couple.
I went for Morrocan Rose Ritual. Took my sister for her Xmas present and we were both very impressed. The beauticians were fantastic. Gorgeous facial and massage with perfect amount of pressure. Came out of there floating on air and feeling the best ever after such spa treatments. This exceeds in comparison to Mayfair Spa. Would definitely go again. The spa area has a lovely ambiance. The only small thing that would perhaps bother some is that the changing area is tiny but it has everything you need.
The manicure was done in what seemed like a waiting area. The manicurist only applied one coat of colour, which I found a little odd as usually 2 are applied... The manicure lasted for a few days & if I'd have paid full price for this, I would have been disappointed. There was a meal included in our offer. The meal was reasonably nice, but watch out for the cost of drinks! The bellinis (which were at best average) were £14 each: happily, I was in good company so the experience was overall, an enjoyable one.
