The staff were so lovely and the treatment was amazing. I chose to have a body massage and it was the quickest hour ever! I didn’t want my therapist to stop!
The spa facilities were a bit crammed, very small area!
The cream tea was also very basic. Quality of scones was so terrible I couldn’t eat a full one.
But the tea and coffee was really good.
And we asked to have sandwiches as we were hungry but were told they were too busy and didn’t have any left!!

We had the most amazing time at the Athenaeum spa for my birthday on Tuesday. The staff were all so lovely and attentive, and the treatments were super relaxing. The cream tea afterwards was also delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
