We had a lovely experience in the Athenaeum Spa. Warm welcome when we arrived and both therapists were professional and friendly.
Sauna and steam room are pretty clean as well. Thank you very much.

Disappointing return visit to the spa and treatment room. Therapists phone went off during a treatment without apology and massage was poor due to no pressure used. Such a shame as previous visit was excellent. Think it just depends on the therapist and their experience.

For such a high end spa it was very disappointing.
The therapist I had was lovely, and her massage was brilliant.
However the beds are cheap, uncomfortable portable massage couches - very hard and impossible to relax.
And shockingly the use of Temple Spa products was not what I was expecting for a spa in Mayfair.

The toilet was not clean when we arrived. The changing room is small and a couple of lockers weren't working. My daughter and I had the body massage. She was not happy with her treatment as the therapist did not satisfy her request. The treatment room had a musty smell. The cream tea service was acceptable.
