Deeply disappointing experience, not worth the money. I had a terrible experience at the Athenaeum Spa in London. From start to finish, nothing justified the high price. The facial was extremely underwhelming it felt rushed, lacked any real technique, and honestly did nothing for my skin. The “heated gel wrap was even worse. It was uncomfortable, messy, and added absolutely no value to the treatment. Overall, the whole experience felt low-quality and definitely not what you would expect

The staff were very friendly. On entering you are made to feel welcome. The facilities, although small, was clean, you are presented with a class of Prosecco, the towels and dressing gown are clean. You are given new slippers. There is no need to bring lotion as it is provided. The masseuse was professional and skilled. We had a three course lunch, which was well presented and tasty. A good day was had 👍

I booked a ticket through wowcher for two, for an 1 hour spa and 2 treatments. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the staff was very friendly. I just wish they had reclining chairs and a cold plunge.
All in all a very good experience, I would try the body scrub next time over the full body detox warp because I felt like the wrap didn't do too much for me.
