We felt welcomed by the team.
The wet room wasn't crowded, much appreciated.
The treatments were great.
Enjoyed the experience in a nice, clean environment.
Staff was polite, facilities decent, and everything clean. However during the massage, one of the therapists clearly was ill. Kept clearing phlegm from her throat very loudly, breathing loudly through her mouth, coughing. As you can imagine, these constant sounds are not very relaxing at a spa during a massage. Even worse, my partner fell ill after the massage. It's unfair to come to work when your job requires you to be so close to someone physically. Ruined the experience; disappointing.
Found my therapist Nayeed rather passive aggressive, She asked me how my pressure was during the massage. I responded a little more pressure would be great. She replied 'this isn't a deep tissue massage ok in a abrupt way. It made me uncomfortable for the rest of the massage and unable to relax.
Drinks were not given on arrival. I had to ask reception if we would be given a drink to which she replied sure I will get you prosecco however I had emailed before requesting non alcoholic drinks.
Was nice. Be better if the ladies were not giggling when we was wrapped up as we didn't know why they was laughing as our eyes was covered. My mum has cancer and wears a wig and this made her very uncomfortable as she thought they may be making jokes about her hair! And we both was naked with our boobs out so whisper talking and giggling is not the one really. Other than that was just OK. Would I return, no
