Karen was really lovely and did an excellent job! I was super early to my appointment and she was very accommodating. I will definitely be going back.
Late to start, bad room, equipment leaked, staff seemed inexperienced, got my name wrong. Poor experience overall and felt let down. Hadn't cleaned up after prev client either
Great place with friendly staff - I was greeted as soon as I walked in even though the receptionist/therapist was on the phone. Made me feel extremely at home, taking my coat and offering me a drink. Large treatment room with relaxing music. The only small thing I'd say is that I did have to pay more for the hot wax than originally quoted for a wax on the Wahanda website, and since I'm quite new to this I wasn't quite sure what the difference was, but the therapist talked me through it. Would be good to make this clear on the website. Will definitely go back and would recommend to others.
The treatment itself was great but I was surprised to be told that it was £6 more than I had already paid for hot wax rather than strip wax even though the listing had not specified what type of wax the treatment would use. When I asked if I could just have strip wax instead I was told by the therapist that she wouldn't do it with strip wax and it had to be hot wax. Since I was already there I agreed but when I came to pay I didn't have any cash and they didn't take card so I was told to go get some cash from the post office next door. I have used them in the past for other treatments and not had any similar issues but not a particularly high level of service on this occasion
The salon was much bigger than it looks from the outside! I went on a quiet weds afternoon so had the place to myself. The staff were all very friendly and I was made to feel very welcome. Michelle did a fab job on my hair and my blow dry is still lovely and bouncy. The only negative was that the product shelves were dusty and the table in front of me had several coffee ring stains on it - as it was a quiet day I would have expected them to catch up on the cleaning. Lots of beauty treatments on offer and a number of specials in their window so will definitely be going back to try those!
