My 55 min pedicure took 25 mins. Mainly because my toenails weren’t painted. Apparently they don’t use ‘simple’ nail varnish as it’s too hard to work with - they only use gel. Shame I wasn’t told this when I booked! I had to go home and paint my own toenails - not the luxury treat I was expecting.
But my main gripe is they were jabbering away in their own language which I find rude, and although it was a scorching day, I wasn’t offered a drink of water.
Bad customer service.
I came on time and the lady who was due to wax me phoned me off her employee’s phone (the lady who does nails) to tell me my appointment wasn’t booked for that day when it was… she jokingly said “see you tomorrow” then spoke in a different language where they and the nail technicians customer, all started laughing. It was very embarrassing.
Also, I saw old wax strips with hair in the bin of the treatment room.. the shop JUST opened when I went in…
