I was disappointed.
I booked a Brazilian wax after reading great reviews about one of the beauticians. When I got to the salon, they were running behind so they told me that someone different would be doing my wax. I explained that I'd rather wait, and that I get anxious about the treatment and would rather have someone experienced. They assured me that the other beautician was experienced and capable, so I went in.
When I came out, I was visibly unimpressed. The beautician did an average job and left some stray hairs behind, even after I specifically requested that every hair was removed (due to a similar experience at another salon).
The lady behind the counter and the regular beautician both obviously saw my expression and asked me how it was, and said quote "please be honest because we need to assess our new therapist". I was politely honest and said I'd have to remove some hairs myself. They went ahead and charged me an extra fee for hot wax AND didn't offer to take me back to the treatment room to finish the job!!!
Wow. So after hearing I was anxious and reassuring me that the beautician was very capable, it turns out they didn't actually know, and then had the audacity to charge me an added fee AND give me their business card!!
In my opinion all of this is a very unprofessional way to treat a new client. I definitely won't be returning.

Staff were nice and friendly. Had a Brazilian wax and was recommended to use the hot wax for an extra £3 which made the experience much less painful and well worth the extra! Wax was quick with good results.
