I'm a really nervous customer when it comes to hairdressers.. Constantly leaving the salon dissatisfied for one reason or another! But my experience at Anya's yesterday was pretty faultless. Theo welcomed me in and was really reassuring, constantly checking he wasn't cutting too much off coz "he knows what girls can be like!" I really appreciated that. I trusted his judgement calls and it paid off - he did a really great job! I'll definitely be going back again

Really intense Dermalogica facial - for just £40. A lovely treat, especially if your skin has the January blues like mine! A full hour of treatment in a salon that's easy to find.

Good wax and excpetional value (although so note that it's £20 for hot wax - not £17). The salon was easy to find and well decorated. This isn't your Uber-lux, flawless central London-type salon but you're not paying the premium for that - good wax, for half the price of elsewhere on a Saturday!

For the price I paid, the experience met my expectations. I was happy with my cut, however it would have been nice to have felt more pampered.
