I booked for a simple wash and blow dry and that is exactly what I got. The salon which is near Balham Station is easy to find and is bright and clean. I had to wait a while for my appointment as the hairdresser was finishing off another client. However once she started on my hair Katya was friendly and helpful.

The facial was basic, a simple cleansing facial, but the head, neck and shoulder massage that went with it was great. The therapist (Miki) was very helpful. I would book with her again.

Found Anya Hair & Beauty an absolute treat. Recently broken up with my boyfriend so wasn't feeling great until I went into Anya and they catered to my every need, making me feel beautiful and refreshed again. I had a Brazilian wax and I'm shocking with pain (the waxing lady actually counted with me each time she waxed and breathed with me haha - I am that ridiculous). I was so impressed with the relaxed nature and friendly staff I thought why not go all out. Got my eyebrows threaded and tinted and some semi-perm lashes. All for a great price. Walked in a mess, walked out a refreshed happy woman! Definitely going to be my new local go-to beauty salon...and I thought I had seen it all. Thank you to everyone at Anya Hair & Beauty xx

The salon was lovely and clean, well decorated and relaxing. I arrived on time, but had to wait. About 15 mins into my treatment another lady walked in saying she had booked for the same appointment time as me for the same treatment, but was very late. My manicurist then rushed through my nails, telling me off for not monitoring the UV machine (which kept turning its self off - my fault apparently). Overall they look fine, but could do with another coat as the colour is slightly transparent in places. Other salons do a better job for the same price, just not in Balham. Maybe they should have an extra person on nails, as the poor woman was rushing between clients.
