I was really keen to find a great salon nearby to where I live for facials. But sadly the search continues. When I arrived I waited 10 minutes which I could have easily forgiven if the rest of the experience was good.
The lady I had looked very bored took me into the room and asked me to get changed into the maroon towel with buttons down the side but didn't tell me how to out it on. When she came back in the room I was wearing it like a cape but that's was wrong and when I laughed and asked her how I should wear it she just whipped it off and said that everyone gets it wrong. (Perhaps she should tell the client on arrival how to wear it then). I then lay on the bed whilst the lighting was changed continuously, the cd playing the calming wind chimes music kept skipping and at the end of the end of the treatment when I was left for 10 minutes whilst the mud mask did its magic she left the tap dripping which was to tire and to top it all off the loud noise of the washing machine in the next room at the end of it's cycle was so loud that it was hardly relaxing. It felt like sound torfure to my ears. I was ushered out with no eye contact or feeling feeling very let down. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. Everything was start to finish was very poor and little to no care taken. So disappointing and a waste of money.
Classic Facials
I had a swedish massage and although the lady was lovely the massage however was not. Swedish massage is supposed to be a nice relaxing massage and that was not the case. The massage was painful and the masseuse did not read my body language as I was squirming at times from it being too hard. The masseuse put my arms in uncomfortable positions at times and did some quad stretching that did not seem necessary or wanted in my massage time. here was no pressure difference over muscle and bone and as a result I woke up today in pain and bruised on my elbows, scapular area and left ribs. I do not enjoy writing this review as I don't like to give negative feedback but how I feel today really makes me regret paying the amount I did for the massage to just feel less relaxed and in more pain today.
Swedish Massage
Came here in a panic needing eyelash extensions removed as had some badly applied from another salon earlier that day. The staff instantly put me at ease and calmed me down. They removed my eyelashes amazingly and safely, I would thoroughly recommend their customer service and their skills.
I love this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming and really know their stuff. I don't live anywhere near this venue anymore but I still go there when I can. Definitely recommend.
