It was a very good session and the therapist was lovely.
The salon was running let and didn't seem the most organised of staff but it was a good treatment and it doesn't put me off returning
Although staff were nice. The actual treatment actually left me in tears. I have had many hollywood waxes in my time at many different places and none have asked me to hold the skin the way they did, likely because it resulted in the soft inside skin tearing and a reasonable amount of blood (spots of blood I will accept as normal, but these were not spots). After this I choose to immediately discontinue the treatment and leave. thus I now have a lop sided mohawk down stairs, which is not particularly hot, although I had hoped my punk BF may think so, no such luck! What made it worse at that initially the beauty clinician blamed me for not holding the skin right, and she then tried be my counsellor (from a good place i'm sure) attempting to theorize why I was crying, and what had happened in my family. She also believed that this level of bleeding was normal, for people of my ethnicity (European), which concerned me.
