So, all of you ladies out there wondering if you should give it a try, go for it !! Nice staff, very professional . Peruwana was extraordinary so if you want ask about her
Today it was the second time I went to Amia for waxing and brows.
This time I have been helped by Mona, a very lovely lady and she did a very good job!
I am happy to go back in the future.
The pedicure was pretty good overall, however the drying machine was not used in between coats and therefore it took a long time to dry. I was suppose to be getting a spray tan after. The lady who was doing the spray tan came up to test my toes and smudged the nail. We eventually decided to just do the tan and then come back to the nails. The tan was overall good I guess but I have never done it with a person spraying me. I found it difficult to understand what I was suppose to be doing and felt it would have been better if she was a bit more personably and clearer with instructions
The manager was very apologetic about the nails. After the tan, the lady who did the tan (who was different than the lady who did the pedicure), attempted to fix my toe but used the wrong shade. The whole experience was suppose to take 1.5 hours but I was there 2.5 and needed to go to work. He was very accommodating and suggested I came back another day to fix the pedicure. He also sent me home with the nail varnish. He later called me, apologised again and booked me an appointment for the following week. Overall, I was disappointed about how long it took. and the end results was okay I guess but probably not worth the time. I probably would have rated the whole experience lower, had the manager not been so good. I also think smudges happen and the overall pedicure was good, it was just too many little things that causes such delays.
Had a Hollywood wax and absolutely loved it. The beautician is amazing, works very quick and well. Great value for money, will be definitely coming back!
