So...... I'm funny about my hair, well I am female! I come from York and always go home to have my haircut so really needed to find somewhere in London where I feel comfortable and my hair is cut as I like it.
I looked at a number of salons before selecting Carlos London and made sure I checked the reviews. I booked an appointment with Dominic as he had some positive feedback from previous clients on cutting short hair. I have to admit I wasn't disappointed!
First of all the girl who washed my hair was really sweet and very chatty, and seemed genuinely interested in my rambling on! Then it was the scary but. No one other than my usual hairdresser has touched my head in years so it was with some trepidation that I sat in the chair. Dominic started by really looking at my previous cut (It was a little longer than normal at this point!), and I bought a photo of how I wanted it..... Yes I know, annoying but it was a photo of me straight after my last cut! He was extremely diligent in checking how it was cut previously and how I normally style and wear it. Once he felt ready he started cutting and throughout the process constantly checked that what he was doing was ok with me.
I have to say I'm really, really pleased with the result. He's done a great job on what is a challenging cut on challenging hair. I will definitely be going back again in future and will use Dominc as my regular hairdresser from now on. Thank you so much Dominic, it looks great!!

It took me 30mins to find the salon. On arrival I asked if they can cut my hair together with the highlights, as I didn't mind to pay extra for it. The stylist said she doesn't have time for it? The treatment is difficult to be called treatment - it was just for 30sec and washed away...I am even not sure what they put on my hair...probably just conditioner. During the wash, The girl was rubbing my hair with her nails scrubbing my scalp, which was very sensible after the highlights. No care at all. There were people from the staff eating around and doing nothing. At the end she put a high power in the hairdryer, probably to dry my hair as soon as possible, about which I complained. She dry my hair very briefly, not even using a brush! I understand that the highlights are in discounted area and it is an offer...but you have to thread every customer equally and manage your bookings. I think they cannot manage their booking coming from Treatwell i the bookings what they have in the salon by itself....very disappointed

Carlos always works for me. The staff is friendly. They give good advise about hair. the cuts are beautiful and grow well. i have alwys received appreciation for my looks after a visit to carlos
