I always get a great haircut at Carlos. Staff is v friendly and give loads of good advice about taking care of hair as well

I paid £25 for a Ladies' haircut & rough dry with L'Oreal ™ treatment which was supposed to last 45 mins. I was in and out within 22 minutes. I wasn't welcomed, asked if I wanted a drink or even asked what I wanted my cut to look like - just let straight to the basin to wash my hair. I couldn't even tell you the name of the lady who cut my hair. Its a shame as I'm local to the area so if I had had a good experience they could have gained a loyal customer, however the whole experience left me disappointed. The cut itself wasn't great (I had to repeat myself several times as to what I wanted as I wasn't asked at the start) and no-one straightened my hair so I left a frizzy mess with my fringe sticking up all over the place. I suppose you get what you pay for but no matter how basic a cut its the little extras, not to mention friendly staff, that make you want to go back to a salon.
