The treatment room in the basement of the salon isnt great. When I arrived there were staff members on their break laughing and being noisy. I could hear them throughout my appointment. The frosted glass door goes straight out into this "break area" and the therapists kept opening the door while I had my legs wide open!
The plastic cover and paper on the bed is not nice, very crunchy and I was left with paper stuck to me for the rest of the day.
The girl who started my wax was very good, but she was explaining what she was doing to a student with her, nobody asked if I would mind a student present let alone to do my wax. Then another lady opened the door (with people still outside) and it turned out she was the qualified beautician and the lady currently waxing me was also a student!! Not happy about that at all.
Also, they have damaged my skin, just in one spot that she forgot to do, didn't put any talc on and ripped my skin off, it is red raw and peeling now 4 days later.
None of these ladies wore gloves. I will not be returning and I'm not happy with my experience. The actual hair removal was good and clean, hence the 2 stars. Would not return or recommend.
