I recently went for a hot wax Brazilian at adorn lakeside and was appalled by how I left the shop. The lady doing my wax clearly had no idea as she wasn’t letting the wax dry before ripping it off so I was in constant agony as she was flicking the wax off and pulling each hair 1 by 1. I’ve had plenty of wax’s and know this is not how to do it. I’ve left with rashes and still loads of hair. I had to keep asking for her to redo areas as it basically looked the same as when I walked in. I really don’t recommend this place for any intimate waxing. Will never be returning for any treatments.

Absolutely atrocious!!! I had to wait 20 min. I’ve had many Indian head, shoulder neck massages and this wasn’t one!!! The treatment door was opened 4 times, twice the ‘therapists’ had a conversation, once with the door wide open ( when I was partially undressed). Manipulation of the elbows and wrists left me with tingling ( she needs to learn where the nerves are). I’d already paid online so I didn’t get the opportunity to not pay and basically just wanted to get out!!!!
I feel like the venue is a bit depressing, and needs modernising. Upon leaving, I noticed that the same treatment was £10.00 cheaper if you didn't book via Treatwell(pricelist was on the door). I found this to be quite money-grabbing and unfair. Also the moment my girlfriend I walked into the place they were trying to upsell us on a treatment that hadn't even been properly up and running yet. The actual treatment was OK, but we're both breaking out now. This is a first for me.
It did seem a little bit rushed but the shellac application was perfectly acceptable
Booked appointment for 4.25pm, called venue to notify them I am pregnant. Was told to come in earlier. Got in for 3.45 to be told to wait 15/20 mins. So decided to go for a spa pedicure without polish. (Little pamper session before baby arrives). Paid £25 to have my feet washed, nails cut and some lotion. Would definitely give it a miss next time. Wasn’t clear if the ‘Hollywood Waxing’ was a strip wax. (Paid an extra £12 at the end for the hot). Once complete I noticed a LOT of hair left, blood and redness all over. But being heavily pregnant I decided to just sort these out at home myself. Very disappointed as I used to come here before and service was a lot better.
