“Know where I can get a wax right now?” Yes, yes we do.

25 April 2018 by Beth Ryan

9am at the desk, 9pm at the bar is our kind of weekday, so squeezing hair removal into our schedule isn’t always the priority (martinis are). If your after-work plans are shaping up, and you’d like to do the same to your body hair (or you’re just in the mood for a little self-care), where should you head for a wax? Legs, brows, any darn body part, here’s our list of go-to places by those in the know: our Treatwell office.

  • 1 Luxury Wax Bar, Farringdon

"Luxury Wax Bar. Having a Hollywood can be daunting with a new therapist every time. I love that you can select your beauty therapist and enjoy a fairly painless wax whilst watching Friends, what's not to love?"

    Jeannine Martel, Head of Affiliates

“I love how easy and convenient it is to book in a quick lunch time appointment with my favourite therapist here. This waxing bar also plays episodes of Sex and the City during your appointment, which is a great distraction and totally puts you at ease!”

    Danielle Petch, Account Manager

  • 2 Beauty Bar at Kelvie and Brown, Chancery Lane

“I usually do my back at Beauty Bar at Kelvie and Brown, they are lovely and they love Treatwell! Also they are in front of our office!”

Oriol Esteban, Paid Social Marketing Specialist

"I've been going to Kelvie and Brown for 3 years now, and I'm always made to feel really relaxed and taken care of in a clean environment – so important when having a wax. You are never in there for long too!”

Lucy Stubley, Account Manager for Spa

  • 3 Ananta Skin and Body, Holborn

“Ananta Skin and Body in Holborn has very cheap prices for waxing but with great results.”

    Paula Anderson, National Account Manager

  • 4 Emma Wilson Urban Spa, Streatham

"Emma’s salon is super cute and unique – it’s very relaxing and feels like a mini spa. Emma herself is very friendly – she explains everything very clearly beforehand, so if you’re a nervous client like myself then this is a great spot for you! The interior is rustic/modern and super clean. It’s quite small though so make sure you book early!"

    Chloe Howard, Partner Marketing Executive

  • 5 Fairmount Spa, North Finchley

"Fairmount Spa – Consistent, friendly therapists who know how to get you in and out in as little pain as possible. First time getting waxed? Don't worry, they'll make you feel completely comfortable and at ease."

    Ella Duffy, Partner Marketing Copywriter
