Think 'Transformers', but make it chic. High-gloss chrome is the way to wear silver nails this season.
If you look at the sky at the minute, you’ll know exactly what shade we’re talking about. Yep, whilst cloudy grey-blue might be a tad depressing above our heads, it’s a killer look on our nails.
Coffee, mocha, or milk chocolate – rich, warm mocha notes are having a major moment this Autumn. The perfect pick-me-up, minus the caffeine.
Cobalt blue has been all over the catwalks of Fashion Week, and now it’s taking over nail feeds too. We’re loving this much needed injection of colour.
Green on your nails was already a hit, but this Autumn we're wearing it darker, deeper and warmer. Think: old Jaguars, Tiffany lamps and pine trees. Bliss.
Red is always a classic, and it works as a perfect mood booster for Autumn. Bonus? You’ll perfectly complement the Autumn leaves when they start to fall.
Anything 70s is so in right now, so we’re loving these 70s inspired mustardy shades of yellow and ochre.
Hold on to the summer for a *little* longer with bright fuchsia and hot pink shades. Perfect for adding some spice to your autumn neutrals and darker outfits.
These nail colours will be everywhere this Autumn
And, just like that, Summer is pretty much over. Holidays, long days, and back garden barbecues are feeling like a distant memory (which probably isn’t helped by the fact we had approx. 1 week of real sunshine this whole season). Honestly though, we’re not mad about the oncoming of Autumn. Sweater weather, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and Halloween? Yes please.
Plus, it’s an excuse to revamp our wardrobes, hair, and beauty – and what’s not to love about that? This season in nails, we’re loving muted colours with neutral overtones, as well as unexpected brights and pops of colour. Here are our picks for Autumn’s hottest nail colours.

They’re the most durable - and therefore low maintenance - shape. No need for nail extensions, an express gel mani is all you need for this one. Square Good for short nails. Exactly what it says on the tin, nails are filed flat on top with squared-off corners. If you have slender fingers and narrow nail beds, this shape will be extremely flattering. Maybe it’s because summer never really began or the fact that we’ve been wearing joggers pretty much exclusively for the last 6 months, but this year, we’re really darn excited for autumn. If you’re not feeling it, a scroll through these autumnal nails will probably help. Summer was all about bold nails (the brighter the better) but this autumn’s trends are much softer. Autumn’s signature tones - mustards, burnt oranges and reds - are a no-brainer, every year. Mixing them with earthy pastels, warm nudes and rich jewel tones (AKA, a dream) keep them on-trend for 2020. Add a matte…View the board
