It’s that time of year (!!) which means we can finally start watching Christmas movies, eating mince pies, and listening to Mariah Carey on repeat (okay, we’ll admit that we’ve been doing all of this since Halloween but at least it’s now a *tad* less embarrassing).
Yep, Christmas is approaching fast, and (in case you couldn’t tell) we’re just a little excited. Of course, we’re eagerly anticipating the reunions with friends, the incredible Christmas dinners, and the – hopefully plentiful – mulled wines. However – is it weird to say we’re almost as excited for our annual festive mani? (We said almost – absolutely nothing beats mulled wine).
As Treatwell’s marketing team, we’ve spent a lot of time (too much, really) scrolling through endless pics of incredible Christmas-y nail art – so we thought we’d give it a go ourselves. We headed to 8 different salons across 4 different countries to try out some of our fave nail art trends of the festive season, so that we could share the inspo with you. From classic red to minimal gold – here are our top picks – from the Treatwell team, with love. ?

1 Starry Night - Fiam“For me, Christmas is all about magic. So, this year I wanted my nails to look like a starry winter night: cool, glistening, and dreamy. These gold and navy nails really put me in a festive mood. All is calm, all is bright…”

2 Minimal french - Bella“Red is a classic for Christmas, but honestly, it’s just not my colour. My motto this year: less is more. A natural SNS mani with a subtle gradient green french tips is the perfect way to add a festive sparkle whilst keeping it minimalist. Bonus? If I’m lucky, I can use them to ring in 2022.”

3 Christmas, but make it cool - Beth“I wanted something festive, but still on trend for 2021 – so I went for a few of the year’s biggest nail art trends – but with added sparkle. I’m also obsessed with anything glittery – and what better excuse than party season?”

4 French & Festive - Lucia“The French mani is a true timeless classic. For Christmas, I wanted to add a festive touch with a hint of gold leaf and an understated Christmas design. Très chic.”

5 18k gold mani - Rossella“Christmas wouldn’t be the same without a bit of *sparkle* – and gold might just be the most festive colour of all. The modern french mani is elegant and refined – and majorly on trend. I’ve opted for gold leaf on a nude base for a chic look that will add a touch of je ne sais quoi to any outfit.”

6 Feeling cozy - Miryam“There’s nothing like a white Christmas – and whilst white might be the colour of snow, ice, and all things *frosty* – it’s also the colour of everyone’s favourite December uniform: the Christmas jumper. That’s why I wanted to turn the frostiest colour of the year into the coziest one – with a sweater-weather-inspired mani. It’s like a warm hug on your nails.”

7 A Minimalist Christmas - Lise“When it comes to my nails, I’m a perfectionist and a minimalist. Think; perfect almond shape & a classy oxblood colour. These french tips in a super chic shade are a minimalist’s festive dream come true.”

8 All the festive feels - Sarah“I love everything about Christmas, and red is my absolute fave colour. So, when it comes to December, I can’t wait to combine the two things I love for the perfect festive manicure.”
