1 Pink’s VMA Speech
Singer Pink brought girl power back to pop music with a moving speech after her performance at last week’s VMA's in LA. Spoken as a direct response to her daughter’s revelation that ‘she’s the ugliest girl she knows’, Pink’s speech took a stand against the repressive expectations today’s females are put under, encouraging girls to promote self love, equality and positive attitudes towards their bodies. Featuring trans model Richie Shazam and a host of other rising stars, ASOS is proving that their versatile new collection looks downright brilliant on just about everyone.

5 Fenty Beauty Campaign
Featuring a cast of nearly 15 models of varying ethnicities and sizes including Duckie Thot, Slick Woods and model of the moment Halima Aden, who made headlines last winter as the first hijab-wearing high-fashion model on runways in New York and Milan, Rihanna’s new beauty line has christened itself as ‘the new generation of beauty’ and to be frank, we dig it.
