With a whole range of treatments on offer, you could get completely ready for a night out here (from hair to tan), but our favourite express treatment is a signature manicure. Whether you like to gel it up or just want a simple file and polish, this is a must-visit for any real nail nuts in Glasgow. We left feeling like a very pampered princess.

Best for: a relaxing manicure
Tucked into the heart of Pollokshields is this gem of a salon. With a boutique vibe, at House Of Glamour, you’ll feel like you’ll almost feel like you’re in a friend’s bedroom – admittedly, a friend with very good taste. Get a lungful of the beautiful candles scenting the rooms and settle in for a truly transformative manicure – our hands looked positively revitalised by the end of our treatment. We floated out.

Any beauty lover worth their salt has to pay a visit to Sacha when they're in town. Based out of the charming Toni Cook salon, Sacha is a wealth of nail knowledge.
