Stress is one of the biggest causes of mental illness in the UK. It afflects an incredible number of people and in the most extreme cases, can result in absence from work or even lead to depression.
Following a consultation with a client, Shaan will design a bespoke treatment plan which will incorporate several different, innovative techniques – each used due to its effectiveness in promoting relaxation and enabling clients to develop coping mechanisms to prevent stress from taking over in the future.
At the end of the treatment plan, clients are left feeling calmer. As a result, they may experience improved health and general well-being; they might enjoy better quality sleep and their attitude to life could receive a fresh, positive overhaul. Ultimately, they will be more relaxed.
What's a session like?
The first 5 or so minutes of a session is me getting to understand exactly what your specific issue is. The next steps involve me getting a clear idea as to how you would like to feel i.e what your goal is. For example if you are feeling stressed a goal for you might be to feel more relaxed for example. After establishing your goal I then work to relax you completely allowing any tension or stress to leave your body and then measure you on a scale of 1-10. 1 being the least stressed and 10 being the most stressed. Then it is just a case of me using my unique approach to let go off your pent up anxiety. The whole process is relaxed, engaging and you will see results very quickly. The more you engage in the process the faster you achieve your goal.
How many sessions do I need?
To be honest it does vary. At a minimum I encourage you to attend at least 4-5 sessions so that we can build up that momentum and really install lasting positive changes in your life.
