It would quite difficult but not impossible, in my opinion you would require a custom van because I think it is safe to say that the pedicure session would have to be performed within your vehicle so it would be necessary have the interior customized to provide the correct ambience. I really would not consider trying to carry fish plus water into a client’s home.
As for transport, this too should be possible with modification, you would need a standard garra rufa pedicure system unit securely attached within your vehicle and before the start of your journey you would need to drain the water level down from its normal operating height. Then you would need a lid that sits on top of the water, even a flat plate resting on the waters surface will prevent it splashing out. The plate must be drilled to allow the fish to breathe. All good units are supplied with a built in filter with UV and sometimes an additional small air pump to aerate the water. It should be possible to run all these from an in vehicle 12V supply.
The water that you initially drain off for the journey should be saved in a separate sealed container and used to refill the unit once the vehicle is stationary and ready for the client. This is because fish don’t always take well to lots of water changes and the water within the tank should contain bacteria that are helpful to the fish if it is maintained correctly.
In the UK this treatment is just beginning to take off so many of the products on the market are still in development stage, this is an advantage as I am sure most companies would be willing to build modified bespoke units.
Hope this helps

It is quite possible that mobile treatments could be the future evolution for the Garra Rufa foot spa industry. It is likely that this therapy will move more and more towards the area of medical treatments and many of the people who would benefit the most may have mobility issues preventing them from regularly visiting beauty salons and health spas. This could be one to watch.

I dont think its possible, its bad enough sometimes driving around with hot wax pots (wax over spills on speed bumps) let alone a fish tank.

The biggest problem you would have is the filtration system. Remember your clients will be dipping their feet in the tank and filtration is extremely important. This will be impossible if you are mobile.
In addition to this how are you going to keep the water at the correct temperature? Failure to do this could result in the fish becoming stressed or even dying.
I'm not sure you would even be able to purchase the right tank size for your use and how would you get this in and out of the car even if you could find a way of controlling the temperature and filtering the water? It would be impossible to lift a tank with the water and fish in situ and that leaves you with the job of filling the tank, warming the water and filltering at each visit...!!!
Another point you may not be aware of: a few US states have actually banned the use of these fish spas as there was no way of determining whether fungal infections were being transposed from one client to another 'via the fish'.
Good luck if you try this out but I think it would be more trouble than it's worth.
Hope this helps with your decision one way or another.
