Can anyone give me a realistic answer to the benefits of IPL?

I'm caucasian with natural jet black hair, will I benefit?

hello ..yes you will benefit..the light will be able to detect the coloured melanin around your hair follicle which will enable it to kill the hair at the root core....your hair will significantly reduce over a period of time and may even mean you won`t need to come back after a course of treatments..most of our clients however do come back for top ups every 6 months but that is only for a few hairs that start their cycle after the ipl is given..so please have a free consultation and get a genuine analysis for your own purposes..thankyou for the interest on wahanda..01622 890296..x

Your hair and skin type would respond brilliantly to IPL and laser. You most certainly would be suitable. We use the alexandrite laser here, which studies show to be the best for hair removal. We have used it for some years with great success. Depending on the area of the body the average person needs 6-10 every 6-8 weeks.
Any further questions don't hestiate to contact us.
Kind Regards

IPL has come a long way in the past few years and can now be effective on even grey hairs now.
The best results are always received on clients with pale skin and vey dark hair , as IPL works through the pigment. To put it quite basically light is attracted to pigment so if the ratio of pigment is higher in the hair in comparison to the skin then the hair will absorb most of the light which turns to heat and therefor burn the food supply to the hair more effectively.
I hope that this answers your question.

You are perfect for IPL, actually! The lighter the skin type and darker the hair the better the result! IPL seeks out pigmentation to burn. Dark hair has greater pigment, so responds very well. And any pigmentation you may have on your light skin will also respond in an ideal way. IPL is for you, and considering we can treat so much with it I would highly suggest it for you!
