we have booked a silk body wrap, what does it involve? How does it feel. What difference does it make to your skin?

Silk wrap i thought was to do with nail extensions lol...not heard of that before i can only imagine it's a 'silk' instead of the normal 'bandage' type ' wrap', looking forward to hearing the correct answer. :-)

Evidently... its a full body scrub followed by a smothering of thick cream (wrap) containing silk particles... very good for hydration and ageing skin .... can't wait :-)

A Body Silk Treatment at Hanbury Manor is not a Body Wrap Treatment. In this treatment we use Decleor products. The treatment will start with a deep exfoliation on the skin, you will then go in to the shower to remove this product. Once back from the shower we will then apply and massage in a rich hydrating moisturiser that will leave the skin feeling soft and glowing.

Not heard of a silk body wrap, sorry. I use the Molyneux body wrap. this detoxifies your body & you will lose inches.Everyone does. It is brilliant. Works every time. Great to kick start your dieting regime or to help you fit into a tightish outfit.

Dear Myssime, I haven't heard of silk body wraps before, but here is one of the closest description I could find in the internet: 'This treatment begins with an Ayruvedic Garshan-massage, which is done wearing natural silk gloves. Your skin is gently cleansed and wrapped in the luxurious cashmere body pack. Whilst your skin drinks in nourishment, relax with a head, face and scalp massage. At the end of the treatment precious silk powder is caressed into the silk using a powder puff, completing and unforgettable experience, that will leave your body feeling re-hydrated and silky smooth.' Hope this is the explanation you were looking for. Enjoy your treatment. Kind regards, Ines
