Danielle is based at Yurt in the City and Portland House in Cardiff.

Danielle first experienced massage in 2004 after she was hit by a car while on her bike. She suffered from whiplash from the impact of the fall. She received a massage every week for the first month then twice a month after for 8 months.

Massage helped ease the pain and stress caused by this event and helped with the remodeling of scar tissue from the whiplash. Danielle strongly believes her mobility in her neck and shoulders would have been worse off today if she has not received massage after her accident.
Danielle realized massage therapy helped her on so many levels emotionally and physically...she loved the feeling massage gave her...she loved it so much she wanted to learn to do this.

Danielle began to pursue her dream of becoming a massage therapist in 2009 in the United States attending East West College of Healing Arts in Portland Oregon. She studied Swedish massage and kinesiology.

In 2011 She moved to the United Kingdom, settling in Cardiff. Danielle has since studied at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. She graduated in 2012 with a level 4 diploma in Holistic Massage from the Massage Training Institute. The diploma is one of the best you can get in the UK.

Danielle started her business in Cardiff in 2012. She varies the kind of work she does between corporate massage, private clients, and festival work. She has started the Level 5 Sports and Remedial massage course at Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork and will be finished with the course summer of 2018.

Danielle specializes in injury recovery. Her massage treatments she caters to each individual client’s needs. She treats the body as a whole using a variety of techniques; such as deep tissue massage, kneading, draining, compression, cross fibre friction, joint mobilization and fascia release. Danielle also integrates many advance massage techniques into her work such as muscle energy technique, soft tissue release, positional release, and neuro-muscular technique.
Danielle will work with her clients to come up with a plan suitable for their needs whether it be for needing help through injury recovery, times of change, to get through a pregnancy, to reduce stress and provide relaxation. www.dakotatherapies.com

Please note:
If you are a first-time client all treatments require a ten-minute consultation. This is included in the treatment time booked along with dressing and undressing times. If you booked an Indian Head massage the consultation usually takes about 5 minutes.

Hannah Boot Therapies is located inside The Amatsu Space, Cardiff.

Hannahs interest in complementary therapies came from her mother; her arthritis meant she needed different forms of pain and stress relief other than medications that wouldn't always work for her.

Hannah decided then that she wanted to be one of the people her mother turned to for help. She applied for the BSc (Hons) Complementary Therapies at UWIC in 2006. The course included diplomas in Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

Hannah has continued with her therapies since then, as well as working as a nurse assistant from 2009-2010 in the Bristol Royal Infirmary on a medical ward.

In 2016 Hannah started a 4 year course in Amatsu, she recently completed her third year so she is now a qualified Amatsu practitioner and will be completing her fourth year of the course in 2019.

This has helped her to evolve into a therapist with the experience of working alongside allopathic/conventional medicine, with all kinds of illnesses, and has set her up to work with medication side effects.

Hannah offers Amatsu, Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology in Cardiff, and uses her knowledge of anatomy and physiology from her degree, and her experiences of working with all types of physical and emotional ailments from her work in the hospital to provide a well-rounded treatment.
