Hi, I’m Someena. I’m a qualified and experienced beauty therapist and hair removal specialist with over 13 years’ experience, offering a range of treatments from my home-based salon, including waxing, laser hair removal, facials and more.

So, how did Wax Away begin?

It’s actually something I’m asked quite often! I started Wax Away over 13 years ago after having my children, while on maternity leave from my job with the Police — polar opposites, I know!

What started during maternity leave has grown into a business that I’ve built from scratch and genuinely love. One of my favourite things about what I do is working with clients one-to-one and creating a relaxed environment where you never feel rushed or like just another appointment.

My Speciality

Waxing has always been at the heart of Wax Away. I specialise in Intimate and Pregnancy Waxing and have completed professional training with some of the industry’s leading wax brands.

I also offer an Express Intimate Waxing service, usually completed within 30 minutes, using premium-quality wax to provide a comfortable, efficient treatment without compromising on results.

I know your time is valuable, so my aim is to provide treatments that fit around real life and your other commitments.

A Personal Approach

Every client is different, and I want you to feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I work with different hair growth, body shapes, skin types and sensitivities, and there is never any judgement here — everyone is welcome.

I’ll tailor your treatment wherever possible and provide advice on looking after your skin afterwards. And if you have a question once you’ve left, I’m always at the other end of the phone.

I understand that everyone’s needs and budgets are different. Whilst my prices reflect the experience, quality and level of service I provide, I’ll always aim to offer genuine value, care and attention with every treatment.

As a mum of two, I understand how difficult it can be to make time for yourself. I don’t think self-care has to mean anything extravagant — sometimes it’s simply setting aside a little time to switch off, reset and do something for you.
