Like all bad love stories, if it hurts, it’s not right… LuxWax started in 2015 when founder Gail was left traumatised after yet another bad wax. Convinced that waxing shouldn’t be associated with pain, she set about to change the way we wax and feel – for the better… by putting the lux into wax. At LuxWax, we believe waxing shouldn’t be a burden so much as a restorative self-care ritual. That’s why we developed our very own signature waxing technique and only use the best waxes, designed to work on the most sensitive skin types and the finest of hairs.

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION

• Please call or email to reschedule if you are feeling unwell, do not attend the appointment in person to let us know.
• Please arrive on time. We are carefully scheduling appointments with increased time for disinfecting all workstation areas, tools, and uniform, before and after treatments to avoid anyone waiting. This plus our 2m workstation distance will help us to keep our social distancing. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to reschedule.
• Government guidelines state that so long as your practitioner is wearing a visor (which they will be) face masks offer no additional benefit. We leave this to your discretion.
• Please come alone (no children)
• On arrival please ring the bell. Your practitioner will welcome you at the door, take your temperature and guide you to where you can wash your hands. We will also be washing hands in between every client.
• If you decide to pay at the venue, please pay by card.
• We will still be offering teas and coffee in disposable cups but will be unable to offer magazines.
• Please bring a bag to store your coat. The coat will be placed in bag before entering salon.
