Douglas’s massage (originally Swedish based) can be described as nourishing holistic massage and bodywork in that it intrinsically encompasses elements of all the approaches he works with. Initially qualified in reflexology he then trained in massage and reiki (master level), clinical hypnotherapy and emotional freedom techniques. In 2024, he completed a 2 year diploma in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy.

Douglas has worked in a variety of clinic settings in Edinburgh and Gloucestershire, including a 3 year period as a senior therapist in 2 high-end rural spas. During this time he taught massage, Indian head massage and spa therapies (BTEC) at Stroud college. He worked as a volunteer counsellor at FDAMH, Falkirk’s Mental health Association.
