Our Covid-19 Health & Safety update;
We’re reaching out with an update on the actions The Barber Joint has taken in response to the evolving Coronavirus pandemic.
The health, wellbeing and safety of our customers and team is of importance to us - today and every day. As the situation continues to develop, I wanted to take this opportunity to reassure you personally that we are doing everything in our power to protect and support our customers.
Barber Joint will begin the appointment with a 5 minute ‘clinical grade hygiene protocol’.
This includes:
- The sanitisation of all tools
- The sanitisation of theirs and the customer’s hands
- The sanitisation of all equipment using anti-bacterial / viral wipes
- The covering of work surfaces
- Upon arrival and exit of the appointment, Barber Joint will thoroughly wash their hands.
- Barber Joint will wear disposable gloves during the service.
- At the end of a working day, Barber Joint will launder all gowns and towels.
- At the end of a working day, Barber Joint will thoroughly wash all tools and brushes
In addition, we also ask that our customers take measures to prevent the spreading of germs. This includes increasing washing your hands thoroughly and frequently, before and after your appointment.
We also ask that if you are ill or have been told to self-isolate, you do not attend any appointments - whether booked on Treatwell or not. Any appointments booked on Treatwell can be amended (up to 1 hour before) or cancelled (up to 24 hours before) at no charge.
Should we at The Barber Joint have any symptoms of the Covid-19, then we will let our customers know with as much notice as possible.
