Mind Body Shiatsu is based in Colinton on the south-west edge of Edinburgh. Working from her beautiful garden room, Jacqui offers Shiatsu, a Japanese holistic touch therapy, helping you to rebalance, restore and renew from within. Sessions are offered upon either:- a traditional Japanese wool filled floor futon or an extra wide treatment table, or a therapeutic massage chair, allowing you to feel supported, comfortable and relaxed. There is plenty of FREE on-street parking and the local bus terminus is a short 5-minute walk away.

Nearest public transport:

Local buses include Lothian's Number 10 Bonaly and Number 16 Torphin all less than a 10 minute walk from the venue.

The team:

The owner, Jacqui, is a Registered Shiatsu Practitioner with the Shiatsu Society (UK) and has a wealth of holistic knowledge. She listens to your needs and creates a deeply relaxing session allowing the body's natural state of 'rest, repair and renew' to take place.

What we like about the venue:

  • The garden studio is bright, warm, calm, comfortable and clean. The oak wood flooring has under floor heating which is a real treat when it's cold and frosty outside.
  • This is a welcoming and comfortable space where clients feel valued, respected and at ease.
  • Luxurious bathroom facilities are available for changing, which is handy if you are coming from work.
