Acupuncturist and Naturopath
Yi began her journey at the prestigious Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, obtaining her Bachelor's degree in 2000. Seeking to understand treating pain using acupuncture from a neuroscience perspective, she furthered her education at King's College London, completing a Master's degree in Pain, Science, and Society in 2008. This allows her to consider many clinical cases in the combination of both TCM and Western Medical Science perspective. Yi's treatments often incorporate channel palpation and traditional Tui Na (acupressure massage) to accurately diagnose and release tension at its source. Her practice is welcoming and effective for a wide range of issues, including: - Pain Conditions: Musculoskeletal pain, fibromyalgia, postoperative recovery, and associated neurological discomfort. - Internal Medicine: Digestive disorders (IBS), respiratory ailments, frequent colds and flu. - Women's Health: Gynaecological conditions, fertility and IVF support and hormonal balance. - Emotional Well-being: Anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. - Common Complaints: Skin problems, low energy, and overall wellness maintenance. Beyond the clinic, Yi is a passionate researcher with a keen interest in expanding the application of acupuncture and herbal medicine for emotional and psychological well-being. A mother of three, Yi understands the demands of a busy life and believes in sustainable health. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and traditional flower arranging, a philosophy that mirrors her practice: nurturing growth and cultivating balance from the ground up. Yi is a registered member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM)
