A nice welcome when I entered the salon. The initial consultation was quite brief, though staff were very self assured and confident with what they could do. They did try to upsell a few times to their full balayage package which I wasn't booked for.
Ambience, cleanliness, and location of salon are great.
My hair wash was okay. Water was too hot a few times, but was quickly rectified. The "massage" wasn't really a massage, more like a hard cleanse. Not uncomfortable, but definitely not in the realm of a head massage.
My actual cut was very quick and the hairdresser was teaching another member of staff during it. I didn't mind this, but I can imagine that others may not have liked this.
The main hairdresser whom I paid for didn't actual even do my blowdry, this was passed off to the trainee with some oversight. He was again learning another method of curling hair. When I expressed some discontent about it, the main hairdresser did come back and takeover. I want to point this out because although I still have an overall decent experience, it wasn't stellar to have this training going on when I paid more to have someone experienced handle my hair and wasn't asked whether I was okay with it or not.
Overall, I'm on the fence about coming back again. The venue overall is great and staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, my actual hairdressing experience is only 3 stars.
