The final result of the mani and pedi was definitely ok but the salon needs to work on their time keeping and hygiene. It’s the third and last time I’ve gone and regardless of if you have a booking they will without exception make you wait for a fairly extreme amount of time as they are busy with walk ins. Cleanliness is so so and fir the second time I’ve broken into rashes following an appointment.
I came here to get my acrylics removed, and they did a ok job with that, although they didn’t properly remove all of the acrylic and there was a lot of cotton wool left stuck to my fingers. I’d booked a ‘spa’ manicure for after to give my nails a bit of tlc after 3 months under extensions, and just asked for some regular polish as I thought that would be hard to mess up. It wasn’t great sadly, the polish they used was thick and gloopy, and my cuticles looked awful and raggedy even after being trimmed. The polish has completely bubbled up and it took forever to dry, and is so thick it’s still not completely dry almost 2 hours after application.
A lot of the other people in the salon seemed to have a much better experience, especially those asking for shellac/extensions and especially those who walked in, so if you wanted to go here specifically I would recommend doing that. Definitely give their regular nail polish a miss because I don’t think they check how old it is very regularly! A real shame as they were lovely.
