Generally a great experience, I’ve deducted a star for ambience because the scaffolding outside made it a bit more difficult to find and took away from the first impression, but the inside of the salon is lovely and clean.
My stylist was great about checking in with me throughout both consultation and service that everything was to my liking, she even went back in with the scissors at the end of my blow dry to make the cut as I wanted it. I wasn’t in love with the blow dry she gave me, but that is a matter of personal taste and I didn’t speak up to say anything. I think I could give her a better idea of my preference next time I go back, which I think I will!
We had a great chat about the difference in prices of men and women’s cuts and she mentioned that the salon may be looking to change their pricing structure to one a little less gendered and a lot more fair, which I think is brilliant!
