I've been visiting Wellness Lounge in Chiswick for facials and IPL. This week I had my second IPL skin rejuvenation treatment. The next morning I woke up, with a big patch of my right cheek swollen, feeling very hard and a big blister. Perhaps the setting had been too high and burnt my skin. When I called the salon to notify them of this, they immediately booked an appointment for me to come in that afternoon. I was expecting them to treat the area, explain to me what exactly had caused this, and offer me some after care advise and products. Instead, Olga just had a quick look and said that she thought it was not going to be a problem at all, but if it would not improve, I should seek advise from my GP. It was only when I asked about what aftercare I should use, that she sent me off with a small sample of face cream for sensitive skin and the advise to have a lower setting at my next appointment, to avoid getting burned again.
I'm extremely disappointed to say the least. They took no responsibility at all and just waved this away as something that was very insignificant.
It's quite sad, as I had enjoyed going there, but their whole demeanour was at the edge of being arrogant and ignorant and has convinced me to seek another salon for future treatments.

they were delayed so my pedi was a little rushed and on close inspection is a little messy with polish on my skin. overall nice, but it's a pricey place.
