The beautician was lovely and really tried. Unfortunately she got a bit pluck-happy on my right one and they're noticeably uneven. For £15, I wouldn't go back.

I had an Elemis facial and the stars I have given were mainly for the lovely man on reception and the fact that my skin did feel very smooth afterwards. However, the facial was probably the strangest facial I've ever had. The therapist stood on the side of the bed for most of it and applied the masks, creams etc with one hand and was very rough. No care was taken at all - the opposite of relaxing. The room was cold and the water she used icy - horrible! During the mask time, she stood outside talking loudly with someone else with the door open. I felt I was an inconvenience to her. She also put some sort of gel on my lips using the applicator from the bottle that has been used by everyone else and finally, she told me to keep my eyes open and tried to put eye drops in my eyes (she said it was a French technique). What would happen if I was allergic to eye drops? She could at least have asked but this went with the whole facial - no explanations of anything and no questions asked apart from "Have I cleaned my face before?" (??!!)
It was an interesting place, mostly for tanning, but one beauty room at the back. I got to lay down while I was getting my pedicure, which was nice after sitting all day at work!
