This was one of the worst experiences in my waxing life. First of all, despite me being early I wasn't called in till 5 minutes after my appointment time. The area that the waxing is done in is covered by curtains and is not in a seperate room so didn't feel very safe, with extremely loud "ambient" music. Most importantly, even though I was booked for a hot wax, the beautician decided to go over the treated areas with strip wax before proceeding onto plucking. I am left quite sore and feeling sorry for people who pay full price for the treatment. Despite all her efforts it feels like I need to book another appointment this week to have the full effect of a Hollywood wax.
The lady who did my waxing was very thorough and efficient. The clinic itself is okay, the rooms are only curtained off so you can hear people talking and walking by. Would recommend as it's good value.
Nice salon and nice beautician, she was very informative and gentle with the treatment. Treatment was ok although I was told I hadn't booked to have the cooling mask after, which wasnt an option on Treatwell so not sure what happened there, probably would have been more satisfied had they carried out the full treatment, felt a little unfinished.
As usual palmira was just brilliant, always making sure i am comfortable and doing her best to relieve my painful foot.
My reflexologist gave me an excellent treatment and seemed skilled and sensitive to my responses. The venue was fine though I was not so keen on the music that was playing while I had the treatment. As for the therapeutic aspect, the treatment definitely had a strong effect on me as afterwards I was more tired than usual. Some toxicity may have been released.
