The facial I received was pleasant overall - nothing special, but certainly not worth how much it costs.
The Indian Head Massage was probably the worst one I ever had. I’ve had a lot of them as I have an annoyingly sensitive back, so tend to go for treatments upwards of my shoulder blades. I explained this to the masseuse but she insisted I must have all of my back massaged as that’s how their treatment works. Had this been a few years ago, I would have gone along with it as I was embarrassed about my back sensitivity and didn’t want to be a nuisance. This time I insisted it had to be above my bra back strap, and it didn’t seem to go down well. I left with a headache as the pressure the masseuse employed was much too forceful; I’ve never experienced a head massage like it. At one point it got too much and I almost shouted for the treatment to stop. I should have asked earlier on for the pressure to be less forceful, but given we seemingly got off on the wrong foot I don’t feel this would have made the atmosphere any nicer.
Definitely will not be visiting again.
